Well I got the answer for you it defiantly worth saddling up.So lets get are boots ready and dive into the best western of all time.
Story:
The story is a long one no doubt but very good.You take the place of John Marston an outlaw in the past who just cant get away.He was shot by his old gang members and left to die, but not the worst his family's life will end if he doesn't kill every one of his old members,so in a nutshell hes pissed.This story mode will take about 18 hours straight missions.It took me 23 hours to beat do to how distracted I got from story.The story mode is fun to play and keep playing till the end.I have already started the game over again just so I can live through the defining moments again and again.
Gameplay:
A long list of mini games to play including poker,blackjack,five finger flea,arm wrestling,lairs dice,hunting and a lot of stuff to destract yourself with.Its a huge huge game.The main means of transportation is your horse which the feeling is really amazing believe me.The controls are like GTA but better.They are all the same but with a couple tweaks.The guns are fantastic also.Each one feels powerful and unique.The Semi shotgun being my favorite.There also is a honor system that tells you how good or bad you are.It defiantly works.There also is a fame system that tells how much the world knows you.Depending on your fame and honor it is how the world reacts to you.For example if your bad no one will talk to you and if your good people will come to you with problems.Also you get a lasso which works out perfectly and is very acurate and it lets you hog tie anyone you want.Also there is a thing called Dead Eye Mode which lets you slow down time and shoot.The first level of Dead Eye is just to shoot slo mo.Level 2 Dead Eye randomly paints targets to fire off shots.Then the last level lets you place multiple shots on multiple targets which ends in a great show of you tearing up outlaws.
Graphics:
A huge step up from GTA the graphics are amazing.So much to see and it all looks amazing.From the rain storms to a Grizzly Bear all looks real and beautiful.There so much detail to everything horses look so real you feel bad for it if it dies.The cutscences are amazing also.Each facial expression John makes it feels real and makes me believe that he is a real person instead of a computer generated man made by Rockstar Games.
Multiplayer:
This is defiantly by itself worth the $60 spent on this game.With 50 levels to go through and ability to prestige up to 5 times you are defiantly spending time on this portion of the game.The modes include free for all and team based games.From a capture the flag type games to a deathmatch version each one has a hardcore mode unlocked at certain levels.Also there something called Free Roam which is defiantly one of my favorites in multiplayer.The whole single player map is open to have fun with under the company of friends or strangers you are bound to have fun.There also is multiple amount of different challenge types to complete each get a hefty amount of XP.
The Verdict:
I’m sure there is something I missed but there is so much to be hyped up about.To sum it all up this game is worth your time any way by renting or buying you will not be let down believe me.This game will take up many of your weekends no doubt.This game is a great game not only for the genre but for every game by themselves.In the end I give this game a score of
10 out of 10.
