Are You Ready For Some Football?

The NFL starts this week. The CEG Fantasy Football League is all drafted out and our favorite teams have been picked to death. Nothing left to do but buy the beer, get some nachos and fire up the hot wings. We also need a couple Football video games.


Of course Madden NFL 11 is out but if your interested in a little less Blitz and more action sack then you may want to check out Madden NFL Arcade on Xbox Live and PSN for $15. You have two teams of five compete for touchdowns by any means necessary.
You can also score 13 different Game Changers (think power-ups) to give you an edge on the field.

Tecmo Bowl Throwback is on Xbox Live and PSN for $10.
Older gamers grew up playing Tecmo Bowl, both in arcades and on NES. This new version retains the arcade style of fun they remember, but with spiffy 3-D graphics and online play. On the downside, it doesn’t have the NFL license, but after a few plays, you won’t mind.
